great place for kiddie haircuts

Do you have a kid who just can't sit still? Or a kid who just doesn't like getting haircuts? If so, I can HIGHLY recommend a hairdresser for your little one. Her name is Farah, and she has the utmost patience with kids, not to mention the greatest affection for them, especially now that she's a grandma. Furthermore, she takes her time and does an excellent job. She charges $15 (or was it $20?), and it's well worth it. You'll love the outcome.

Farah can be contacted at 664-2626. Her shop is located at 1590 Taraval at 26th Ave. She works Wednesdays through Saturdays.

Jay and sometimes his father who's retired but subs for Jay are both great with kids. Elliots been going since he was 18 months.

I've been going to Jenni's Hair Design on Irving at 15th Avenue for years. The day before Thanksgiving, I took Isa in for her first haircut. Isa's hair had numerous knots. Jenni spent 40 minutes conditioning Isa's hair and taking out the knots and another 10 minutes on the hair cut. Isa was happily chewing on the gummi treats that Jenni provided during this monumental event. After it was all said and done, Jenni tried to charge me only $19.00 for it all.
